It’s easy not to imagine the Bulbous Lotus as anything other than a vase when there are no stems protruding from it. Metal whistles of varying heights are often more reminiscent of musical instruments than anything like a practical container. The vase consists of two parts, both independent of each other and both beautiful in their own right.
